Excuse me while I use my blog to help me remember some of the finer points of making plum jam. Anyone reading this: feel free to add pointers.
1. Cut plums in half and remove seeds
2. 8 cups of halved plums makes 5 half-pint jars
3. 8 cups of halved plums and 3 1/2 cups sugar. Boil 10-12 min. Use the cold bowl test.
4. Honey’s tall white bucket makes 3 batches of jam (12 half-pint jars)
